I'm a wife and mother. I'm married to my best friend from high school. We have two children Indira and Iris. They're 3 and 2 and a handful.
I'm a pagan. I'm absolutely in love with my faith. If I had to describe myself I'm some where along the lines of a natural / kitchen witch who follows the Reclaiming tradition. It's been a long road getting here. First I was Catholic, then Christian, then I joined a Wiccan coven, then I studied with druids and now I find myself here. I'm intrigued by religions, culture and history. I studied anthropology in college and I have an insane love for languages.
I'm an animal lover. I currently have 3 cats and several fish. I love snails especially aquatic ones. I try to support my local rescues and get homes for animals in need.
I'm not a girly girl. I'm more comfortable with car parts and grease than I am with make up and hair products. I tend to be a "crunchy" and practical woman. I like natural bath stuff (as in home made soaps.. not melt and pour) and I use the no 'poo method of hair cleansing. In the past few years I've learned my way around the kitchen. I used to burn everything, now I love to cook. I'm a tech and science nerd. I love astronomy.
I'm an artist and a crafter. I can't draw to save my life but I somehow manage to get the ideas out of my head and onto textiles and clay. I'm a hand spinner, seamstress and a knitter.
I'm a New Orleanian. I love my city. I'm so happy that it's slowly coming back.
I'm a trekkie. My mom got the idea for my name from star trek. It was destiny. I love anime especially anything by ghibli studios. Nausicaa is my favorite followed closely by totoro. I'm a futurama fan. (we love bender!)
